Janet Sobey Bubert represents public school districts, charter schools, community colleges and other government entities in all aspects of school and public law, including real estate transactions, elections, employment issues, student discipline, special education, and open government issues.  Prior to joining Brackett & Ellis, Ms. Bubert was an associate attorney in the School Law Section of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP.  Immediately following law school, she served as briefing attorney for Justice Michael Schneider at the Texas Supreme Court.  Ms. Bubert has been recognized by Texas Monthly as a Texas Rising Star in School and Education Law.
