Ryan Scharar joined Brackett & Ellis as an associate in 2009. Mr. Scharar attended Michigan State University College of Law, where he was notes editor for the Michigan State Law Review. During law school, he interned for the Honorable David W. McKeague on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and for the Honorable Walter Shapiro of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Mr. Scharar is also a Certified Public Accountant with audit, tax preparation, and tax consulting experience. During law school, he worked part time for two accounting firms preparing federal and state tax returns and assisting on tax consulting engagements. Prior to law school, Mr. Scharar worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Houston, Texas.
