Brackett & Ellis, P.C.'s primary source of new associates is its summer associate program. This program is designed to offer a broad view of all aspects of the firm's practice while providing opportunities to work with a majority of the firm's members. Each summer associate is assigned a shareholder and associate mentor, who work together to coordinate assignments, provide guidance, and insure that each summer associate has a positive professional experience. In addition to research and drafting assignments, every effort is made to involve summer associates in trials, depositions, hearings, closings and client conferences.

PLEASE NOTE, Brackett & Ellis will not have a summer associate program in 2010.  The firm had three outstanding summer associates in 2009 and all three accepted our offers of associate positions for the fall of 2010.  With a new associate joining the firm in September, 2009 and three new associates joining in the fall of 2010, the firm determined that it is highly unlikely that it will have associate openings in the fall of 2011.  The firm therefore decided that it would be unfair to 2011 graduates to hold a summer associate program in 2010.  If our situation changes, we will update this page accordingly.
