Prior to attending law school, Ms. Bender worked as an educator in various settings including university campuses, public school districts, and private schools. Ms. Bender represents public school districts, charter schools, independent and private schools, community colleges, and other government entities in matters involving school and public law, including policy development, real estate transactions, elections, employment issues, student discipline, special education, public information, and open government issues.
