On August 23, 2019, the Supreme Court of Texas appointed Joe Cleveland to the Texas Board of Disciplinary Appeals for a three-year term. The Board is a tribunal appointed by the Texas Supreme Court to hear attorney disciplinary appeals and to conduct the trial of certain disciplinary proceedings involving lawyers who have been determined to be in violation of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct. Appeals from Board decisions are heard by the Texas Supreme Court.
