Follow the Golden Rule
What does the Golden Rule have to do with practicing law? It’s really pretty simple. We treat clients as we would want to be treated. We answer our own phones and return calls and e-mails promptly. We provide regular updates and quickly reply to requests for information. We provide candid advice in a concise and understandable way so our clients can make informed decisions. We treat our clients with respect and work together as a team to achieve the desired goal.
Actions Speak Louder than Words
A lawyer’s reputation is hard-earned but easily lost. We value our reputation. We tell the truth, we keep our promises, and we vigorously present our client’s case with persuasive force and effective advocacy. Over the years, we have earned the respect of the courts and our fellow attorneys by adhering to the highest principles of ethics and professionalism. We believe abusive or harassing conduct never advances a client’s cause but only results in increased costs and lost opportunities. We work to solve problems – not create them.
A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned
We know clients place a high priority on controlling legal costs. We do too. We welcome the opportunity to sit down with our clients to identify their goals and to provide a road map for the most cost-effective means to achieve them. If the work can be handled by one lawyer, we don’t staff it with three. Instead, we tailor the representation by identifying the most qualified professional able to perform services at the least cost. We also keep our clients regularly informed and work as a team to manage fees and expenses.
