Brackett & Ellis Defends Animal Rescue

Recently, a suit was brought against Chad and Jennifer Snyder and Legacy Boxer Rescue in Tarrant County. In that suit, the plaintiff claims that she owns Bowen, a boxer who was rescued from a shelter by Legacy Boxer Rescue and then adopted by the Snyders last July. On Monday, March 26, 2019, counsel for the defendants filed two motions asking the Court to dismiss the claims. Copies of the relevant pleadings in this case are set forth below.
