Ian Klein primarily practices in the areas of school law, labor and employment, professional liability, and general civil litigation. He represents public school districts, educators, real estate agents, brokerages, and private entities across Texas in state and federal litigation, as well as in administrative proceedings before the Texas Education Agency and other regulatory bodies. His practice includes handling cases involving employment disputes, student discipline, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, professional negligence, and alleged constitutional violations.

Before entering private practice, Ian served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable W. Keith Watkins and the Honorable Myron H. Thompson of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, where he gained significant experience in federal litigation. Ian has also represented clients in matters involving construction, transportation, family law, and premises liability, providing him with a foundation of knowledge and experience in a variety of subject areas.

In addition to his litigation work, Ian writes and publishes on evolving legal issues in constitutional and First Amendment law, with a particular focus on religion in public education. He brings a balance of scholarly insight and practical experience to his practice, dedicated to achieving meaningful results for his clients.
