Resume:

S. Taylor Franklin has more than five years of experience representing clients in complex oil and gas disputes, real estate litigation, and corporate business matters throughout Texas. His practice includes handling ownership and lease disputes, title and boundary issues, and claims arising from development, management, and sale of commercial properties. Mr. Franklin also advises and litigates on behalf of companies and business owners in contract disputes, fiduciary duty claims, and shareholder or partnership conflicts. He has analyzed and interpreted extensive documentation concerning mineral ownership, operating agreements, and a wide range of commercial contracts, bringing both legal precision and strategic insight to each matter he handles.

Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Franklin served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy. He deployed aboard the USS Carl Vinson in 2015 as part of Strike Fighter Squadron 113 (“The Stingers”) in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. His military experience fostered the discipline, analytical rigor, and leadership mindset that now inform his approach to legal advocacy. Today, Mr. Franklin draws upon both his military and legal backgrounds to provide clients with sound counsel, meticulous preparation, and the firm judgment needed to achieve favorable outcomes in complex disputes.
